ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is a proven protection element in electrical installations – both in residential buildings and public or industrial facilities. It provides effective protection against the effects of short circuits and overloads, protecting electrical circuits and devices connected to them. Its compact design and mounting on a TH35 rail make replacement and installation quick and easy.

Functionality and technical parameters

This single-pole (1P) circuit breaker with a rated current of 1.6A is characterized by a D characteristic, which means it reacts with a slight delay to short-term current surges. This is particularly important when protecting circuits with devices with high starting current, e.g. motors. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 6kA at both 230V and 400V, which guarantees safety in the event of a failure. The circuit breaker is designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to +55°C and has a protection degree of IP20.

Additional possibilities

ETIMAT 6 offers the possibility of expanding functionality by mounting additional elements: auxiliary contacts (PS ETIMAT 10) and overcurrent release (DA ETIMAT 10). The possibility of double connection of the insulating busbar (top and bottom) facilitates assembly, and the contact position indicator allows for quick visual control of the circuit breaker status. The switching lever has "ON/OFF" markings and the possibility of sealing in both positions, which increases safety. Each circuit breaker is individually marked with an EAN code for easy identification.
