ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is a proven safety element in electrical installations – both in residential buildings and public and industrial facilities. Its task is to protect circuits against the effects of overloads and short circuits, ensuring the safety of the installation and connected devices. The design based on characteristic D makes the circuit breaker cope well with impulse loads, such as starting motors or transformers.

Functionality and technical parameters

ETIMAT 6 2P D1.6 is a two-pole device with a rated current of 1.6 A. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 6 kA for both 230 V and 400 V. This ensures effective protection in typical electrical installations. The width of the device is 2 modules, which facilitates mounting in switchboards. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² (solid and stranded) provides flexibility in choosing the supply wires. The IP20 degree of protection indicates protection against finger contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.

Installation comfort and additional possibilities

ETIMAT 6 offers a number of conveniences for installers. The possibility of mounting auxiliary contacts (PS ETIMAT 10) and an overcurrent release (DA ETIMAT 10) allows for expanding the functionality of the circuit breaker and adapting it to specific application needs. In addition, the device allows power supply from the top and bottom, as well as double connection of the insulating busbar – which increases installation flexibility. The contact position indicator and the possibility of sealing the on/off lever provide an additional level of safety and control. The circuit breaker meets the requirements of IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards, which confirms its quality and reliability.
