The design of the ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is designed for versatility. A rated current of 1.6 A makes it an ideal choice for protecting circuits with lower power consumption, e.g. lighting or sockets. Characteristic D provides delayed tripping during short-term overloads, which is particularly important when servicing devices with motors or other elements generating high starting currents. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6 kA (at 230 V and 400 V) guarantees effective disconnection of the circuit in the event of a failure.

Additionally, the circuit breaker has a disconnectable neutral pole (N) simultaneously with the phase pole, which increases safety. The ability to connect wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² ensures compatibility with various types of installations. A width of 2 modules allows for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet.
