The ETIMAT T power limiter is an element used to protect the electrical installation from overload and to limit the energy consumption of the user. Installed before the meter, it allows for selective disconnection of the circuit in the event of exceeding the set power, without the need for intervention by the energy supplier. This is particularly useful when the user has devices with high power demand that can overload the network.

Features and application

ETIMAT T is an overcurrent circuit breaker with an overload (thermal) element, without a short-circuit element. Thanks to this, it reacts to long-term exceeding of the rated current, protecting the circuit from damage caused by overheating. The use of the ETIMAT T power limiter allows for selective disconnection in relation to the overcurrent protection of the consumer (Z4), which ensures greater safety and reliability of the installation. The device is designed for mounting on a DIN rail in the installation distribution board.

It is designed to operate in networks with a voltage of 230/400V AC and has a protection degree of IP20 (IP40 when installed). The limiter terminals allow connection of wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm², with a maximum tightening torque of 3 Nm.
