The ETIMAT T power limiter is a circuit breaker designed for mounting on a DIN rail, used as a pre-meter protection. Its main function is to limit the power consumed by the user, providing selective disconnection in relation to the user's overcurrent protection. This makes limiting energy consumption effective and safe.

Construction and application

ETIMAT T is characterized by the lack of a short-circuit element, having only an overload element (thermal). This solution means that the device reacts to overloads, protecting the installation from damage caused by prolonged exceeding of the permissible current. The circuit breaker, after activation, can be re-engaged by the user without the need for specialist intervention – which is particularly important for individual users. The use of the ETIMAT T power limiter allows replacing traditional selective circuit breakers within its rated current range.
