Construction and additional functions
The fuse link is made of high-quality materials: a steatite body (thermally stable material), silver-plated brass knife contacts and aluminum covers - which guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. The fuse link is equipped with a double indication of operation - a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover. This solution ensures easy and reliable identification of a blown fuse, even in difficult conditions. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote signaling of operation. The fuse link has an AC short-circuit breaking capacity of 120kA and is characterized by low power losses (1.3W). The total Joule integral of switching is 383 A²s, and the pre-arcing 90 A²s.
