Knife fuse links – reliable installation protection

Knife fuse links NH are industrial devices designed to protect electrical installations against the effects of short circuits and overloads. Their design and electrical parameters comply with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards, which guarantees their reliable operation and safety. This particular fuse, with a rated current of 16A and a voltage of 400V, is characterized by a time-delay gG characteristic, which means it provides full-range protection against overloads and short circuits.

The NH000 gG 16A/400V fuse is equipped with a dual operating indicator – a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a spring-loaded plate on the top cover. This solution ensures easy and quick identification of a blown fuse, both visually in the fuse base and in the disconnector. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote fault signaling.

• High breaking capacity: The fuse has a short-circuit breaking capacity of up to 120 kA, making it suitable for use in demanding industrial conditions.
• Safety of use: The fuse is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which increases its breaking capacity and stabilizes its electrical parameters. Insulated grips (NH…/I…) are also available to provide additional protection against contact with live parts.
• Versatile application: Ideal for protecting cables and equipment with time-current characteristics corresponding to the old time-delay fuses (gG).
