Thanks to the use of quartz sand with a special granulation, the fuse link is characterized by a high short-circuit breaking capacity – up to 120 kA at 500V AC. A dual operating indicator (red eye on the ceramic body and a spring-loaded plate on the cover) facilitates quick identification of a blown fuse, both in the base and in the fuse disconnector.
