Functionality and technical parameters

The design of the ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is based on characteristic D, which means that it reacts with a slight delay to short-term current surges. This is particularly important when operating devices with motors or other loads generating high inrush currents – it allows to avoid unnecessary tripping of the protection. Two poles provide comprehensive circuit protection, and the rated current of 1A makes it an ideal choice for circuits with lower loads. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA (at 230V and 400V) guarantees safety in the event of a failure.
