Diaphragm expansion vessel BASEFLEX-12, 12L, 1.5/6 bar / 70°C, threaded connection G3/4" male, red RAL 3002, for heating and cooling systems, vertical mounting 25301
Diaphragm expansion vessel for heating and cooling systems
This is a diaphragm vessel from the Baseflex series, with a capacity of 12 liters, designed for closed heating and cooling systems, compliant with EN12828 standard. Its construction ensures compensation for thermal expansion of water in the system, maintaining stable working pressure. Made of high-quality materials, it guarantees reliability and long service life.
Construction and application
The Baseflex vessel utilizes a bag membrane that separates water from air inside the tank. This prevents water from direct contact with the steel body, minimizing the risk of corrosion. This is particularly important in installations with glycol or other anti-corrosion additives. A G3/4”M threaded connection facilitates integration with the existing system. The red color (RAL 3002) ensures easy identification in the installation.
- Expansion compensation: Absorbs changes in water volume due to temperature changes, protecting installation components from excessive pressure.
- Corrosion protection: The bag membrane isolates water from metal, preventing internal corrosion.
- Versatility: Suitable for both heating and cooling systems.
- Safety: Compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU confirms a high level of safety.
- Durability: Nitrogen filling helps maintain constant pre-pressure for a longer time.
Specifications and operating parameters
The vessel is characterized by a maximum working pressure of 6 bar and a pre-pressure of 1.5 bar. It can operate at temperatures from -10°C to 70°C, making it suitable for most standard heating and cooling installations. It is adapted for use with liquids containing up to 50% glycol and 30% ethanol. The welded construction ensures the strength and tightness of the device, and powder coating provides additional protection against external corrosion. The nominal connection diameter is 3/4 inch (20), and the outer diameter is 26.5 mm. The membrane material is EPDM rubber, providing flexibility and resistance to conditions prevailing in the installation.
