Construction and operating principle

The Contraflex-12 vessel uses an SBR membrane to separate the heating medium from the air. An increase in temperature causes the water to expand, and the vessel absorbs this change in volume, maintaining the pressure in the installation at a safe level. This avoids dangerous pressure surges that could lead to failure. Filling with nitrogen ensures longer stability of the initial pressure. A threaded connection without a paint coating facilitates installation and ensures a tight connection.

The nominal diameter of the connection is 3/4 inch (20), and the outer diameter is 26.5 mm. The height of the vessel is 273 mm and the diameter is 286 mm. Please note that the product is not intended for drinking water or solar collector circuits.
