Shower drain for walk-in showers

Geberit CleanLine30 is a linear drain designed for modern walk-in showers. It can be installed either in the middle of the cabin or directly against the wall - providing flexibility when designing the shower zone. The black version is additionally equipped with an anti-fingerprint coating, which minimizes the visibility of fingerprints on the drain surface.

Construction and material

The drain is made of chrome-nickel-molybdenum steel 1.4404 (EN 10088) - the same alloy used in installations requiring high corrosion resistance. The channel can be shortened on-site to a desired length within the range of 30-110 cm, allowing it to be adapted to non-standard cabin dimensions.

The design provides for adjustment of height, slope, and offset - the installer has full freedom to level the drain relative to the floor. The K3 (3 kN) load class means that the drain will handle typical domestic use without deformation.

Installation and compatibility

CleanLine30 is suitable for ceramic tiles with a thickness of 8-35 mm - it fits into standard floor layouts. The manufacturer has provided separate installation kits (available to order separately): for screed thicknesses of 65-90 mm or 90-220 mm at the connection, as well as an optional floor/slab penetration kit.

No tools are required for cleaning - the comb insert can be removed by hand and simply rinsed under running water.

Standard and quality control

The product is subject to quality control according to EN 1253-3, which specifies requirements for drainage devices in residential and public buildings. This is important during technical inspections - especially in developer or hotel investments.

Note: natural stone tiles may discolor in the shower area - this should be taken into account during the interior design stage.

The set includes a comb insert, a connection fitting with a compensation ring, and a sealing socket.
