PEHD ring sleeve – reliability and durability in drainage systems

This PEHD ring sleeve with a diameter of 315 mm and a double ring, designed for HDPE drainage systems, is a key element ensuring tight and durable connections. Made of high-density polyethylene (PE-80), it is characterized by high resistance to mechanical and chemical damage. Its construction, reinforced with a double ring, guarantees stability and safety of the connection, even in demanding conditions.

The sleeve is compatible with plastic sockets for welding/butt fusion, enabling quick and efficient installation. Both connection 1 and 2 have a nominal diameter of DN 300 and an outer pipe diameter of 315 mm. The wall thickness of the connections is 12.2 mm, which translates to the strength of the entire structure. The working length of the connections has been precisely selected – 60 mm for the first and 41 mm for the second – to ensure optimal welding parameters. The material used – polyethylene (PE) – provides corrosion resistance and long-term operation.

The Geberit HDPE system, in which this sleeve is used, is distinguished by its exceptional versatility. It can be used in many applications: drainage of water from buildings, roof drainage (gravity and vacuum), terrain drainage and in industrial installations. Importantly, this system is also suitable for laying in concrete, which opens up additional application possibilities on construction sites. The polyethylene used in production contains additives protecting against UV radiation, making the system resistant to weather conditions and can be stored outdoors for a long time. In addition, this material exhibits high chemical resistance – up to 95% of standard bases and acids – making it an ideal solution in environments exposed to aggressive substances. High tensile strength ensures long-term reliability of the system.
