Geberit HDPE Compensating Socket – a solid connection in the drainage system

The Geberit HDPE compensating socket is an indispensable element of a pressure drainage system, designed to connect pipes and fittings with a diameter of 160 mm. Made of durable polyethylene (PE-80), it provides durability and corrosion resistance, making it an ideal solution for both installers and end-users. The socket design with a double seal and seal protection guarantees a leak-proof and reliable connection, minimizing the risk of leaks.

This model is particularly useful in demanding industrial applications where resistance to aggressive chemicals is crucial. Thanks to the use of PE-HD material, the socket is resistant to approximately 95% of standard alkalis, acids and chemicals, which extends its service life even in difficult operating conditions. Additionally, this material is characterized by high resistance to UV radiation, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors.

Application and structural features

The Geberit HDPE compensating socket finds wide application in various drainage systems: draining water from buildings, roof drainage (including vacuum drainage), terrain drainage and in industrial installations. The possibility of laying in concrete further increases its versatility. The socket design has been designed with easy installation and disassembly in mind, which facilitates installation and service work. The gasket material is made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomeric rubber (EDPM), which ensures its flexibility and durability. The socket has short connections made of plastic for welding/butting with a nominal diameter of DN 150 and a working connection length of 155 mm. The wall thickness of the connections is 6.2 mm, which ensures adequate mechanical strength.
