HDPE sewage system for demanding applications

The PE-HD 110/88.5 elbow is a professional installation component made of high-density polyethylene (PE-80), forming an integral part of the Geberit HDPE sewage system. The product, with a nominal diameter of DN 100 (110 mm) and a bend angle of 88.5°, is designed to change the flow direction in sewage and drainage installations.

Material and chemical resistance

The component is made of PE-80 polyethylene with a wall thickness of 4.3 mm, ensuring high mechanical strength while maintaining material flexibility. Polyethylene is characterized by resistance to approximately 95% of all standard bases, acids, and chemicals, making it ideal for industrial and laboratory installations.

The material contains special additives to protect against UV radiation, allowing the system to be stored outdoors for many months without degradation of its mechanical properties.

Applications and system compatibility

The elbow is used in many areas: building water drainage, conventional gravity roof drainage, vacuum roof drainage systems, and site drainage. A special feature is the ability to install components directly in concrete, which expands the range of possible construction applications.

The product is compatible with the entire range of Geberit HDPE system components with diameters from DN 40 to DN 200, enabling the creation of comprehensive installations tailored to diverse design needs.

Installation and connection parameters

The elbow is equipped with welding/fusion ends with a length of 95 mm each, enabling durable connections using the following methods:

• Butt welding using appropriate machines and tools
• Electrofusion couplings for precise installation

The raw state of the connection surfaces provides optimal conditions for the welding process, guaranteeing leak-tightness and connection durability throughout the entire service life of the system.

The component weighs 0.25 kg with packaging dimensions of 0.12 × 0.15 × 0.15 m, facilitating transport and installation even in hard-to-reach installation sites.
