This PEHD fitting with a 1 1/4 inch internal thread is a key element of the Geberit HDPE drainage systems, designed to connect 50 mm diameter pipes. Made of high-quality high-density polyethylene (HDPE), it is characterized by exceptional strength and resistance to external factors. The reinforcing ring provides additional stability and safety to the connection, especially in installations exposed to mechanical loads.

Universal Application and Chemical Resistance

The fitting is used in a wide range of installations: from draining water from buildings, through roof drainage, to industrial and commercial facilities. Its resistance to UV radiation and approximately 95% of standard alkalis, acids and chemicals makes it ideal for harsh environmental conditions. The possibility of laying in concrete further expands its range of applications.

Design and Installation

The fitting has a plastic spigot designed for welding/buttfusion and a 1 1/4 inch cylindrical BSPT-Rp (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) internal thread. Made of PE-80, it ensures long-lasting tightness and reliability of the connection. The length of the fitting is 60 mm, and the outer diameter of the connection pipe is 50 mm with a wall thickness of 3 mm. Installation is carried out by butt fusion or using electrofusion fittings – appropriate machines and tools are required.
