Geberit HDPE Drainage System – Durability and Versatility

Geberit HDPE PE pipes are a reliable choice for building drainage systems in many applications – from draining water from buildings, through roof drainage, to industrial installations and water and sewage networks. They are characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage, temperature fluctuations (from -40°C to 80°C) and the action of most standard alkalis, acids and chemicals. PEHD pipe with a diameter of 200 mm and a wall thickness of 6.2 mm, with a length of 5 meters, made of polyethylene (PE), is intended for Geberit HDPE drainage systems. The ring stiffness class SN4 and the pressure class PN 3.2 guarantee appropriate strength and safety of use. The water content in the pipe is 27.6 l/m.

Installation and Connections

The Geberit HDPE system offers flexible methods of connecting pipes and fittings. Butt fusion or electrofusion welding are possible – both methods ensure durable and tight connections, resistant to leaks for years. Prefabrication of elements in the workshop significantly speeds up the installation process on the construction site, especially for larger projects.
