Circulation pump for heating and air conditioning systems

The Grundfos MAGNA1 25-40 180 is an electronic circulation pump designed for simple heating, air conditioning and domestic hot water circulation systems. It is an economical alternative to the MAGNA3 pump, while offering high energy efficiency and easy integration with building management systems. The pump's construction is based on the proven MAGNA technology, guaranteeing reliability and long service life.

Construction and application

The MAGNA1 pump is characterized by a wet-rotor design, meaning the pump impeller is constantly submerged in liquid. The housing is made of cast iron GG 20 (GJL-200), providing strength and corrosion resistance. The pump's application includes heating installations in commercial buildings and single-family homes, as well as air conditioning systems, district heating networks and industrial heating processes. Thanks to the ability to choose from nine predefined control modes, the pump can be optimally adapted to the specific requirements of a given application.

The Magna1 pump has a built-in motor controller that enables stepless speed control, allowing precise adjustment of performance to current system needs. The maximum head is 4 meters and the maximum flow rate is 3.73 m³/h. The motor power consumption (P1) is 0.056 kW with a rated current of 0.45 A and a voltage of 230V/50Hz or 60Hz. The degree of protection IPX4 provides protection against splashing water. The connection length is 180 mm and the nominal diameter of the inlet and outlet connections is 1 1/2 inch (40).
