Circulation pump for heating and air conditioning systems
The Grundfos MAGNA1 32-80 180 is an electronic circulation pump designed for efficient operation in simple heating, air conditioning and domestic hot water circulation systems. It is an economical alternative to the MAGNA3 pump, offering best-in-class energy efficiency. The pump is suitable for both commercial buildings and single-family homes.
Design and application
The MAGNA1 pump is equipped with a built-in speed controller, enabling stepless speed adjustment. The pump body is made of cast iron GG 20 (GJL-200), which ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The impeller made of PES 30%GF material guarantees reliable operation. Pipe connections with a diameter of 2 inches (50 mm) with a cylindrical external gas thread (BSPP) facilitate installation and integration with the existing installation. The connection length is 180 mm.
Performance and efficiency
The pump achieves a maximum head of 8 meters with a nominal flow rate of 5.09 m³/h. The energy efficiency index (EEI) of 0.2 indicates very low energy consumption, which translates into operating savings. The motor power consumption (P1) is 0.151 kW with a rated current of 1.22 A and a voltage of 230 V (1 phase). The pump operates in a temperature range from -10 to 110°C, allowing it to be used in various working conditions. It has a degree of protection IPX4, protecting against splashing water.
