Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent protection is a compact, universal protection for electrical installations. Model 4P with a rated current of 25A and a differential current of 30mA, with characteristic B and a breaking capacity of 6kA, provides effective protection against the effects of overloads, short circuits and electric shock. It is an ideal solution for both new installations and modernization of existing ones.

Protection and functionality

This four-pole circuit breaker combines the functions of an overcurrent circuit breaker (automatic fuse) and a residual current circuit breaker (RCD). This protects the circuit against overload and short circuit - like most circuit breakers in this class - and additionally detects leakage currents to ground, minimizing the risk of electric shock. Characteristic B means that the circuit breaker reacts quickly to short-term overloads, but is more tolerant to short current surges, which is important when connecting devices with electric motors or other elements generating surge currents. Type A sensitivity ensures effective detection of both sinusoidal alternating currents and pulsating DC currents, which increases safety when connecting modern electronic devices.

Installation and application

The 4-module wide circuit breaker is designed for mounting on a DIN rail in a distribution box. The possibility of flush mounting makes it easier to aesthetically match the surroundings. The wire cross-section from 1 mm² to 16 mm² (stranded) and from 1 mm² to 25 mm² (solid) ensures compatibility with most typical installations. Mechanical lock prevents accidental disconnection. Designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to 40°C and rated voltage 400V/50Hz. The impulse voltage withstand capability of 4kV guarantees its reliability in difficult working conditions. Energy limitation class is 3, and the degree of protection IP20 provides basic protection against contact.
