Universal application and high performance

The ADM406C circuit breaker is characterized by a high short-circuit breaking capacity – up to 6kA, which guarantees an effective response in the event of a failure. Its B characteristic design ensures fast tripping in the event of overloads, while allowing for trouble-free starting of devices with motors that generate short-term inrush currents. A sensitivity of A makes it ideal for protecting against the effects of leakage currents. The four-pole design (4P) allows for the protection of the entire circuit, including the neutral conductor.

Installation and compatibility

The circuit breaker is designed for mounting on a TH35 rail, occupying 4 modules in width. The possibility of flush mounting makes it easier to aesthetically match the interior. It accepts solid wire cross-sections from 1 to 25 mm² and stranded wires from 1 to 16 mm². It has a lock that prevents accidental switching on after switching off due to a failure. It meets the requirements of IEC 60898-1 and IEC 61009-1 standards, confirming its compliance with the highest safety standards. Operation in an ambient temperature from -25°C to +40°C ensures reliability even in difficult conditions.
