This halogen-free power cable, designated TOPFLEX-611-C-PUR 4G1.5, is an ideal solution for applications in cable chains, robotics, CNC machining centers and other demanding applications. It provides a reliable connection in dynamic industrial environments. The cable construction is designed for long-term operation and resistance to external factors.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction: multi-wire copper conductors class 6 provide flexibility and resistance to bending. Polypropylene (PP) insulation guarantees safety and reliability. The wires are twisted together and then wrapped with non-woven fabric for better sliding properties, which facilitates routing in cable chains. The whole is surrounded by a special polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket and a copper braid screen, which minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC). The gray color (RAL 7001) facilitates identification. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing and installation.

• Resistance to external factors: PUR provides resistance to oils, greases, coolants, hydraulic fluids, alkalis and solvents. Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV radiation, oxygen and ozone.

• Halogen-free: The materials used in production do not contain halogen, which increases fire safety and minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire.

• Flexibility: The construction with multi-wire class 6 conductors provides high flexibility, which is crucial in dynamic applications.

• Shielding: The copper braid effectively reduces electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission.

• Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C during stationary operation and from -30°C to +80°C during dynamic operation.

The TOPFLEX-611-C-PUR 4G1.5 cable is dedicated to applications in motor drives (including numerically controlled), servo motors and all kinds of industrial machines and equipment operating in harsh conditions. It is particularly recommended for installation in cable chains (cable carriers), robots and CNC machining centers. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0293, 0295, 0250 and DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 standards. The product is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
