Cable for cable chains 600 V MULTIFLEX 512-C-PUR 4G1,5 UL/CSA, halogen-free shielded metered 21668
Robust cable for cable chains – reliability in harsh conditions
This shielded cable chain cable, with an outer diameter of approximately 11.6 mm, is designed for intensive use in machines and equipment exposed to continuous bending. Made of high-quality polyurethane (PUR) with conductor insulation made of a material other than standard PVC, it provides exceptional flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -30°C to +80°C during installation, making it an ideal solution for demanding industrial applications.
This cable also features high resistance to external factors such as oils, solvents, acids and UV radiation. It meets UL/CSA standards and has a rated voltage of 600 V, guaranteeing safety and reliable operation. The braided shielding construction minimizes electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission. Fine-stranded conductors of class 6 provide high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue.
Construction and application
The cable consists of four conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², which are twisted together to ensure optimal flexibility and minimize the risk of damage during bending. The conductors are marked with numbers for easy identification. In addition, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors), arranged on the outside. The construction also includes a special protective braid after each layer of twisted conductors and a halogen-free inner jacket made of TPE and a protective foil. A braid shield made of copper wires provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference.
This cable finds wide application in mechanical engineering, robotics and in moving parts of automatic machines, where high flexibility and resistance to external factors are required. It is ideal for transmitting pulses in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference. It will also work in applications requiring long-term reliability and resistance to extreme operating conditions.
Key features and benefits
- Exceptional flexibility: Thanks to the construction with class 6 fine-stranded conductors and a special twist pitch, the cable is extremely flexible and resistant to material fatigue during repeated bending.
- Resistance to external factors: The polyurethane outer jacket provides high resistance to oils, solvents, acids, UV radiation and other aggressive chemicals.
- Shielding: The braided shield minimizes electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission in industrial environments.
- Safety: Compliance with UL/CSA standards and a rated voltage of 600 V guarantee safe and reliable cable operation.
- Durability: High-quality materials and a solid construction ensure long-term operation even in the most demanding conditions.
- Halogen-free: The materials used in production do not contain halogens, which increases the fire safety of installations
- Wide temperature range: The ability to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) makes the cable suitable for use in various industrial environments
