Robust cable for cable chains for industrial applications
This shielded cable chain cable, HELUKABEL MULTIFLEX 512-C-PUR, designed for operation in harsh conditions, is designed for reliability and durability in industrial applications. It meets UL/CSA standards and is characterized by high resistance to mechanical, chemical factors and extreme temperatures. Ideal for machines and robots where the cable is exposed to continuous bending and movement.
Construction and properties
The cable is constructed of seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², insulated with special PP. The strands are twisted in layers with an optimal twist pitch, which ensures flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. In addition, the cable has a protective braid and a braided copper wire screen (approx. 85% coverage) that minimizes electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating, resistant to abrasion, oils and UV radiation. The non-halogen material of the coating increases safety in the event of a fire.
This cable is distinguished by a wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -30°C to +90°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 600 V, and the test voltage is 3000 V. The minimum bending radius is 4x the outer diameter for stationary applications and 7.5x the outer diameter for flexible applications.
