This specialized HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX® 109 cable, designed for chain guides, is distinguished by its exceptional durability and resistance to external factors. Designed for applications in harsh industrial environments, as well as in marine environments, it ensures safe and reliable power transmission. The cable is made of high-quality materials, guaranteeing long-term operation even with intensive use.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a single 150 mm² core, made of unannealed copper, stranded according to DIN VDE 0295 class 6, BS 6360 class 6 and IEC 60228 class 6. The core is insulated with a special material, and the entire cable is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating, resistant to abrasion, oils and UV radiation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 23.2 mm. It is worth noting the lack of a common screen – this design is optimized for flexibility and use in chain guides.

The SHIPFLEX® 109 cable meets strict safety standards, including flame retardancy tests (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1) and halogen-free (DIN VDE 0482 part 267/ DIN EN 50267-2-1/IEC 60754-1). Additionally, it is resistant to oil (IEC 60092-350) and maintains flexibility at low temperatures (down to -40°C according to IEC 60092-350). The material used for production does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances hindering painting.
