This orange HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX 109 cable, designed for chain guides, is a solid solution for installations exposed to high mechanical loads and harsh environmental conditions. Construction and properties

The cable has a single core with a cross-section of 240 mm², made of stranded copper (class 6). The core insulation is made of a special material providing high mechanical and chemical resistance. The whole is surrounded by a polyurethane outer jacket (PUR), which guarantees resistance to abrasion, tearing and aggressive substances. The lack of a common screen makes the cable more flexible and easier to install. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 28.2 mm.

It is worth noting a number of certificates and standards that this cable meets: it is flame retardant (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1) and halogen-free (DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-1 / IEC 60754-1), which increases safety in the event of a fire. Additionally, it is oil resistant (IEC 60092-350) and UV resistant, making it an ideal choice for outdoor and harsh industrial environments. The cable remains flexible even at low temperatures down to -40°C (IEC 60092-350).
