Cable for chain guides, 1000 V UL shipflex 109 1G50/AWG1 orange, halogen-free 21379

Cable for chain guides – reliability in demanding conditions

This orange HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX 109 1G50/AWG1 cable is a specialized solution designed for use in chain guides, particularly in harsh industrial and marine environments. Designed for high flexibility and resistance to external factors, it ensures safe and reliable power transmission. Its construction and materials guarantee long-term operation even in environments exposed to oils, UV radiation and extreme temperatures.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a single core with a cross-section of 50 mm², made of unannealed copper, stranded according to DIN VDE 0295 class 6, BS 6360 class 6 and IEC 60228 class 6. The core insulation is made of a special material providing high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. In addition, the cable has a polyurethane outer jacket (PUR) compliant with UL std. 1581 Tab. 50227, which provides resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation. The lack of a common screen makes it a solution dedicated to applications where shielding is not required. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 15 mm.

It is worth noting a number of certificates and compliance with standards:

  • Flame retardancy: meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1
  • Halogen-free: compliant with DIN VDE 0482 part 267/ DIN EN 50267-2-1/IEC 60754-1
  • Oil resistance: meets the requirements of IEC 60092-350, Annex F
  • Low temperature resistance: up to -40°C according to IEC 60092-350, Annex E
  • UV resistance: confirmed by tests
