This orange HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX 109 cable, designed for energy chains, is a solution for demanding industrial applications. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation even in extreme conditions. The cable is particularly recommended for use in marine environments, where it is exposed to moisture, salt and oils.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a single core with a cross-section of 10 mm², made of stranded copper (class 6). The core is insulated with a special material, providing high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. A durable outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation. The lack of a common screen makes the cable more flexible and easier to install. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8.3 mm.

It is worth noting its advanced properties: it is halogen-free (compliant with DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-1 / IEC 60754-1), which increases safety in the event of a fire. It also has radiation resistance up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad) and maintains flexibility at low temperatures (down to -40°C). In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that hinder painting.
