Cable for chain guides, 1000 V UL shipflex 109-C 1G35/AWG2 orange, halogen-free, shielded 21334

Chain guide cable – reliability in demanding conditions

This shielded chain cable HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX 109-C, designed for operation in harsh conditions, is an ideal solution for both installers and end users. The cable is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it indispensable in applications requiring frequent bending and movement, such as chain guide systems in machines and equipment. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures safe and long-lasting operation.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a single core with a cross-section of 35 mm², made of unannealed copper, twisted in accordance with DIN VDE 0295 class 6, BS 6360 class 6 and IEC 60228 class 6 standards. The core is insulated with a special material, and the entire cable has a screen of tinned copper wires (with the option of an additional aluminum foil), which provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference. A durable outer coating made of polyurethane (PUR) guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation. The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.

Additionally:

  • Nominal voltage UL is 1000 V, which provides a wide range of applications.

  • Insulation resistance is at least 100 MOhm x km, guaranteeing high-quality connection.

  • Minimum bending radius is 7.5 times the cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces.

  • Radiation resistance up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (100 Mrad) allows use in environments exposed to ionizing radiation.

  • The cable meets standards regarding fire resistance (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1) and halogen-free properties (DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-1 / IEC 60754-1).

Applications and benefits

The SHIPFLEX® 109-C cable is designed to operate in extreme conditions, including marine environments – hence the name SHIPFLEX®. It works perfectly in applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors:

  • Chain guide systems: Ideal for powering mobile devices in industrial machines and robots.

  • Marine industry: Resistance to weather conditions, ozone and UV radiation makes the cable suitable for marine applications.

  • Applications requiring oil resistance: The PUR coating protects against damage caused by contact with oils and lubricants.

  • Applications in harsh industrial conditions: Resistance to abrasion and UV radiation ensures long-term reliability in demanding production environments.

Thanks to the use of this cable, you can count on:

  • High reliability: Solid construction and high-quality materials guarantee long-lasting operation without failure.

  • Safety: Halogen-free coating minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire.

  • Easy installation: The flexibility of the cable makes it easy to lay even in tight spaces.

  • Protection against interference: Shielding ensures stable signal transmission and minimizes the risk of electromagnetic interference.
