Cable for chain guides, 1000 V UL shipflex 330 12x0.25/AWG24 grey, halogen-free, shielded 19851
Chain guide cable – reliability in harsh conditions
This shielded chain cable HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX® 330 is designed for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. It is ideal for use in chain guides, especially in industrial, marine and environments exposed to oils and UV radiation. Its construction ensures long-lasting and safe operation in demanding applications.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, using twisted copper strands in accordance with DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. The cores are insulated with a special material, and their identification is done using colors, which facilitates assembly and servicing. A screen made of tinned copper wires (with an optional aluminum foil) provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils, UV radiation and low temperatures – down to -40°C. In addition, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.
- Durable construction: Class 6 copper strands provide high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue.
- Effective EMC protection: A screen of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference.
- Resistance to extreme conditions: PUR jacket provides resistance to oils, UV radiation and low temperatures.
- Safety: Halogen-free jacket reduces the emission of toxic gases in case of fire.
- Application in harsh environments: Ideal for marine and industrial applications.
- Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of UL Style 20234 and DIN VDE, DIN EN and IEC standards.
Technical specifications and application
The SHIPFLEX® 330 cable has a core cross-section of 0.25 mm² (AWG 24) and consists of 12 cores. Its outer diameter is approximately 8 mm. The cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of up to 500 V (UL: 1000 V). Thanks to its properties, it is perfect for powering mobile devices, automation systems and all kinds of machines and equipment operating in difficult industrial conditions. This is particularly important in applications requiring high reliability and long-term operation – such as in ports, shipyards or on drilling platforms. Remember the possibility of using a large round crimp with copper braid at both ends of the screen for optimal EMC function.
