Construction and properties ensuring durability
The H05VV-F cable is characterized by a solid construction. The insulation of the conductors is made of PVC TI2, and the outer sheath of PVC TM2, which provides resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. Conductor identification is done using colors (according to DIN VDE 0293-308), which facilitates correct connection. The cable has 5 conductors, including one green-yellow protective conductor (from 3 conductors). The use of twisted strands in parallel with an optimal twist pitch minimizes the risk of interference and ensures a stable connection. The cable complies with the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11/ DIN EN 50525-2-11 and IEC 60227-5.
Applications and operating parameters
This cable is perfect for installations requiring flexibility and resistance to changing conditions. It can be used in dry and humid environments (e.g., in dishwashers, light sources), office equipment, radios, and inside furniture and walls. The permissible operating temperature range is from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible). The cable is tested for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.3 mm.
