Control and power cable for wide applications

This flexible control cable, made of special PVC, is used in electrical installations requiring both control and power supply. Compliance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11/ DIN EN 50525-2-11 and IEC 60227-5 standards guarantees its reliability and safety of use. This cable is particularly useful in situations where flexibility and resistance to environmental conditions are required.

Construction and properties

The H05VV-F cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² consists of five cores, allowing for versatile use in various applications. The cores are made of stranded copper, which provides them with good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. Core insulation made of PVC TI2 and the outer sheath made of PVC TM2 provide effective protection against mechanical damage and external factors. Core identification is done using colors (according to DIN VDE 0293-308), which facilitates correct connection of the cables. Additionally, the cable has a green-yellow protective conductor (from 3 cores), increasing safety of use.

Applications and operating parameters

This cable is perfect for internal installations, both in residential and commercial buildings. It can be used in household appliances (e.g., dishwashers, light sources), office equipment, radios or centrifuges. It is also suitable for installation inside furniture, walls and empty spaces in buildings. Thanks to the permissible temperature range from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible), the cable retains its properties over a wide range of ambient temperatures. The rated voltage U is 500 V, and the maximum permissible operating voltage in alternating 1- and 3-phase installations is U0/U 318/550 V. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 9.3 mm. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
