This flexible H05VV-F control and power cable, made of PVC, is a universal solution for a wide range of installations. This cable, with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² and five cores, ensures safe and efficient power transmission in various conditions. The use of high-quality materials guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation.

Construction and properties

The cable is designed for demanding applications. It is made of multi-wire, flexible copper core (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295), which provides high flexibility and easy installation even in tight spaces. The core insulation is made of PVC TI2, and the outer jacket of PVC TM2 – both materials provide good mechanical protection and resistance to external factors. The cores are identified by colors according to DIN VDE 0293-308, which facilitates correct connection. Additionally, the cable has a green-yellow protective conductor (from 3 cores) for increased safety.

The cable is characterized by an allowable operating temperature of -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and -5°C to +70°C (flexible), making it suitable for use in various environments. The rated voltage U is 500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km, which confirms the high quality of workmanship and insulation. The minimum bending radius is approximately 7.5 x cable diameter.

Applications and compliance with standards

The H05VV-F cable is ideal for indoor use where moderate mechanical stress occurs. It will work well in household appliances (e.g., dishwashers, light sources), office equipment, radios or centrifuges. It can also be used in kitchens and in places exposed to elevated temperatures (provided direct contact with heating elements is avoided). It is suitable for installation inside furniture, walls and empty spaces in buildings.

The cable meets the requirements of standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11 / DIN EN 50525-2-11 and IEC 60227-5. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU and has passed self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1.
