Control and power cable for wide application

This flexible H05VV-F control cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a universal solution for both installers and end-users. Made of high-quality PVC, it provides reliable connections in various applications. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11/ DIN EN 50525-2-11 and IEC 60227-5 standards, which guarantees its safety and performance.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of five cores made of stranded copper wire, providing high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Each core is insulated with PVC TI2, and color identification facilitates correct connection. A green-yellow protective conductor (available from 3 cores) further increases safety. The outer sheath made of PVC TM2 protects the cable from mechanical damage and external factors. This ensures that the cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C during stationary use and from -5°C to +70°C during flexible installation.

The H05VV-F cable is ideal for internal installations where flexibility and moisture resistance are required. It can be used in household appliances (dishwashers, lighting), office equipment, radios or centrifuges. It is also suitable for installation inside furniture, walls and empty spaces in buildings. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting, making it environmentally friendly. This cable is tested for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1 standards. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V, and the maximum permissible operating voltage in AC 1- and 3-phase installations is U0/U 318/550 V.
