Shielded control and power cable – reliability and flexibility in every application
This multi-core shielded cable F-CY-OZ, with a cross-section of 1 mm² per core and 12 cores, is an ideal solution for data transmission and power supply in demanding industrial environments and electrical installations. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation and long-lasting performance. The cable is characterized by its flexibility, which facilitates installation and routing in tight spaces.
Construction and properties
The F-CY-OZ cable is designed for a wide range of applications. Its construction is based on stranded copper conductors, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 cl. 5, BS 6360 cl. 5 and IEC 60228 cl. 5 standards. Each core is insulated with special PVC (Z 7225) and then marked with digital numbering for easy identification – according to DIN VDE 0293. The cores are twisted in parallel, which minimizes interference. Additionally, the cable has an insulating foil reducing the outer diameter and a dense braided screen providing high resistance to electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a durable outer sheath made of PVC TM2 (DIN VDE 0207-363-4-1 / DIN EN 50363-4-1) in gray color (RAL 7001).
This cable meets the EN 13501-6 standard in class Eca in terms of reaction to fire, which increases the safety of the installation. The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the permissible operating temperature is -40°C to +80°C during stationary operation and -10°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 11.9 mm.
