This shielded F-CY-OZ control and power cable is an ideal solution for data and power transmission in demanding industrial environments, control and regulation technology, and electronics. The construction with 18 cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² provides high flexibility and reliability of connections. The cable is made of high-quality materials, which guarantees its durability and resistance to damage.

Construction and properties

The F-CY-OZ cable is characterized by a careful construction that affects its parameters and application. Copper, stranded (class 5) cores are twisted in parallel, and each of them is insulated with special PVC. The cores are marked with numbers, which facilitates identification and connection. Additionally, the cable has an insulating foil reducing the outer diameter and a dense copper braid providing effective shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMC). This braid should have good contact with the terminals (e.g., cable glands) for optimal protection. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC coating in gray (RAL 7001).

The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a fire reaction class Eca according to EN 13501-6. The permissible operating temperature is from -40°C to +80°C during fixed installation and from -10°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The rated voltage is 300/500 V.
