Highly flexible cable for frequency inverters – double shielded
This specialized power cable, catalog number 22224, is designed for efficient and safe power supply to motors in frequency inverters. The cable's construction, with double shielding and flexible insulation, minimizes electromagnetic interference and ensures reliable operation in demanding industrial conditions. The outer diameter of the cable is 32.6 mm, and its cover is made of durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
### Construction and properties
The cable consists of stranded copper conductors class 5, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. The conductors are insulated with polyethylene (PE) and marked with colors: black, brown and gray, and the protective conductor is yellow-green and divided into three parts. The construction includes two screens – aluminum foil and copper braid – which provides excellent suppression of electromagnetic interference. The conductors are twisted concentrically in a 3+3 structure. The outer cover is made of special black PVC (RAL 9005). The cable is metered for convenient dispensing and assembly.
Thanks to the use of special PE insulation and double shielding, the cable is characterized by low mutual capacitance and coupling resistance, which translates into minimal energy losses and high electromagnetic compatibility. It is resistant to UV radiation, which allows it to be used in outdoor installations as well. The cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +80°C during assembly.
