This shielded flexible cable, designed for control systems, is distinguished by its exceptional durability and resistance to external factors. It is ideal for applications requiring frequent bending and movement, such as robotics, industrial automation, or installations in machines. The cable's construction based on PETP-PUR technology ensures long-lasting and reliable operation even in harsh conditions.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of 28 copper strands, twisted in 14 pairs, which facilitates identification and connection. The strands are insulated with PP (polypropylene), and the whole is protected by a braided screen made of tinned copper wires, minimizing electromagnetic interference. A durable outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, tearing, oils, acids and other chemicals. The cable's flexibility guarantees easy installation and routing of wires even in tight spaces.

• Stranded wires class 6 provide high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending.
• Shielding protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in precise control systems.
• Radiation resistance up to 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (100 Mrad) allows the cable to be used in specific industrial conditions.
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -30°C to +70°C (flexible) enables the use of the cable in a wide range of ambient temperatures.
• Compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU confirms the safety of use.

Technical parameters and applications

The cable has a conductor cross-section of 0.25 mm² and a rated voltage of 350 V. It is intended for use in dry and damp indoor and outdoor environments (after protection against UV radiation). The minimum bending radius is 4x cable diameter for stationary installation and 7.5x cable diameter for flexible operation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 12.7 mm.
