Control cable for use in energy chains

This flexible control cable, with a cross-section of 2x2x0.5 mm², is designed to operate in demanding conditions, especially in chain systems and robotics. Its construction ensures reliable signal transmission even with frequent bending and movement. Shielding protects against electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in precise automation applications.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by an advanced construction that guarantees its durability and reliability:

• Conductors: Made of unannealed copper, stranded, fine-wire (class 6 according to DIN VDE 0295), providing high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue.
• Insulation: Durable insulation made of polypropylene (PP) resistant to oils, acids, alkalis and hydraulic fluids. Conductor colors comply with DIN VDE 47100 for easy identification.
• Shielding: Braid of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference (EMC).
• Outer jacket: Made of polyurethane (TMPU), resistant to abrasion, tearing and mechanical damage. Also provides high chemical resistance and flexibility at low temperatures. The material does not contain silicone, cadmium or paint-inhibiting substances.
• Structure: Two pairs of conductors twisted in parallel for better organization and easier identification.

Thanks to this combination of materials, the cable is exceptionally resistant to harsh environmental conditions and intensive use. This is particularly important in industrial applications where it is exposed to contact with chemicals, oils and frequent bending.
