Halogen-free control and power cable – reliability and safety of installation
This flexible control cable, made of high-quality materials, is designed for demanding industrial and construction applications. The JB-750 HMH 4G4 mm² cable combines reliability, safety and ease of installation. It is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end customers looking for durable and safe cabling.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a 4G4 mm² construction, which means four cores with a cross-section of 4 mm². These cores are made of multi-strand copper (class 5), providing flexibility and resistance to bending. The core insulation is made of halogen-free PVC (TI6), which minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire. The outer jacket made of TM7 compound further increases resistance to abrasion, oils and weathering. The gray color (RAL 7001) makes it easier to identify in the installation.
The cable has a yellow-green protective core, providing additional safety. The cores are twisted in parallel, and their color scheme allows for easy identification without the need for a meter. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adapt to the needs of the installation.
Application and operating parameters
The JB-750 HMH 4G4 mm² cable finds application in a wide range of installations:
- Industrial machines and equipment
- Conveyor belts
- Production lines
- Air conditioning installations
- Steel mills
- Flexible and stationary installations
The cable is designed to operate in dry, damp and wet environments, both indoors and outdoors. The permissible operating temperature range is from -15°C to +70°C for flexible operation and from -40°C to +70°C for stationary operation. The rated voltage U is 750 V, and the test voltage is 3000 V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 12.5 mm. The minimum bending radius during laying is 12.5 x cable diameter for flexible installations and 4 x cable diameter for stationary installations.
Additionally, the cable is characterized by high radiation resistance (up to 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg). It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11, confirming its high quality and safety of use. It is also compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
