Flexible halogen-free control cable – reliability and safety

This flexible control cable, designated as OZ-600 HMH 2x1.5, is an ideal solution for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications, from machines and conveyor belts to air conditioning systems and steel mills. Its construction ensures reliable operation in both stationary and flexible installations.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on un-whitened, class 5 (flexible multi-strand) copper conductors. The core insulation is made of halogen-free TI6 compound, which ensures safety in case of fire – it limits the release of toxic gases and smoke. Black cores are clearly numbered with white digits, making identification easier during installation. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer jacket made of TM7 compound, providing additional mechanical and chemical protection. The cable is metered for ease of use.

It is worth noting the compliance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/ DIN EN 50525-3-11 standards, which guarantees its high quality and safety. Additionally, the cable has passed fire tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24, BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-24 and IEC 60332-3-24 standards.
