Flexible halogen-free control cable – safety and reliability

This grey, flexible control cable JZ-520 HMH-C LS0H with a cross-section of 5G0.75 is an ideal solution for installations in places with increased fire safety requirements. The cable is designed for public buildings, office buildings, hospitals and other facilities where limiting the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire is key. Thanks to the fire reaction class B2ca-s1a, d0, a1, it meets strict European standards and provides a high level of protection.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-term and reliable operation. Made of multi-wire copper conductors class 5, insulated with a halogen-free polymer mixture TI7, it guarantees flexibility and ease of installation. Stranded conductors in layers with an optimal pitch minimize signal interference. In addition, a screen in the form of a braid of copper wires provides protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer sheath made of halogen-free type M1 plastic ensures safety in the event of a fire – it does not emit toxic gases or smoke.

Application and benefits

The JZ-520 HMH-C LS0H cable is widely used as a control cable in buildings of the People Hazard (ZL) character, where high fire safety is required. It will also be useful in machine installations, conveyor belts, production lines and air conditioning systems. Its flexibility allows it to be used in both fixed and mobile installations.
