This shielded DATAFLAMM®-C cable, with a cross-section of 2x0.75 mm², is an ideal solution for data transmission in signaling, measurement, control and telecommunication systems. Made of high-quality materials, it provides stable and safe signal transmission, even in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference. The cable is particularly recommended for use in public buildings, laboratories and warehouses, where halogen-free properties are crucial for fire safety.

Construction and properties ensuring safety and efficiency

The DATAFLAMM®-C cable stands out with a construction designed for reliability and durability. It uses stranded copper conductors, which provide flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The conductors are insulated with polyethylene (PE), and the entire cable is surrounded by a screen of tinned copper wires – this is what minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference (EMC) on the transmitted data. The outer jacket made of halogen-free PVC guarantees safety in the event of a fire, limiting the emission of toxic gases.

• Halogen-free: meets the standards VDE 0482-754-1, DIN EN 60754-1 and IEC 60754-1 – crucial for safety in public buildings.
• Shielding: a braid of tinned copper wires effectively reduces electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable data transmission. For optimal EMC, it is recommended to ensure contact of the braid with the terminals on both sides.
• Flexibility: the stranded conductor construction makes it easier to install and route cables in tight spaces.
• Weather resistance: the cable can be used in both dry, wet and humid places, as well as in walls and concrete.
• Wide temperature range: permissible operating temperature is from -40°C to +70°C (flexibly +5°C to +70°C).

The DATAFLAMM®-C cable has been designed with the requirements of professional installers in mind. It has a working voltage of 500V and meets the standards regarding resistance to radiation and corrosion of fire gases. Thanks to its precise construction and high-quality materials, it ensures long-lasting and reliable operation in various applications. The outer diameter of the cable is 5.9 mm and its insulation resistance is min. 2 GOhm x km. The conductors are identified with colors according to DIN 47100, which facilitates correct connection of the cables during installation.
