This flexible, shielded PVC cable is designed for a wide range of applications in measurement, control, signal, regulation technology, and electronics. The PAAR-CY-OZ 4x2x1 mm² cable is characterized by high flexibility and durability, making installation easier and ensuring long-term operation. The cores are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334, facilitating identification and connection. Made of high-quality materials, it meets safety requirements and is resistant to external factors.
Construction and properties
The cable is constructed of eight copper cores (4 pairs) with a cross-section of 1 mm², insulated with special PVC (TI2). Twisted pair cores reduce mutual interference. Shielding is provided by a braid of copper wires covering approx. 85% of the surface. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC (TM2) jacket in gray (RAL 7032). This makes the cable resistant to oils and many chemicals.
It is worth noting the operating temperature range: flexible from -5°C to +80°C and stationary from -40°C to +80°C. The cable meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding fire resistance and does not contain substances that interfere with painting. The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the core/core test voltage is 1200 V.
