This flexible PVC cable, designated PAAR-CY-OZ 5x2x1.5 mm², is a reliable solution for transmitting data, control signals and power in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference. The construction with paired cores and a copper braided shield provides high resistance to interference, which is crucial in automation, measurement and control systems. Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a 5x2x1.5 mm² construction, which means 5 pairs of cores, each consisting of two cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm². The cores are made of stranded copper (class 5), which provides them with flexibility and resistance to repeated bending. The core insulation is made of special PVC (TI2), and the entire cable is surrounded by a gray outer coating of PVC (TM2), resistant to oils and chemicals. The cores are numbered with digits for easy identification during installation.
It is worth noting the shielding in the form of a copper braid, which minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference on the transmitted signals. For optimal EMC protection, it is recommended to ensure good contact of the braid with the terminals - e.g. by using appropriate cable glands. This cable has a rated voltage of 300/500V and an allowable operating temperature of -30°C to +80°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +80°C (stationary).
