Submersible pump cable – reliability and safety in contact with water

This blue HELUPOWER® AQUATIC-750-BLUE cable is a specialized solution for powering submersible pumps, designed for demanding working conditions in drinking water. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures long-lasting and safe operation, both in domestic and industrial installations. The cable is particularly recommended for use in submersible pumps, but will also work well in power systems for sensors, drive motors or heating systems located underwater.

Construction and application

The cable is designed in accordance with DIN VDE 0250/DIN VDE 0285-525-1/DIN EN 50525-1 standards. Its construction guarantees flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The multi-strand copper conductor, class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) ensures good conductivity, and the PVC insulation effectively protects against short circuits. Core identification is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308 – for a single-core cable, the core is black. The coating made of cross-linked halogen-free plastic (blue RAL 5015) provides resistance to water, chlorine (up to 0.6 mg/l) and salt water (up to 6% salinity). The ability to work in water at a depth of up to 600 meters and at an external pressure of up to 60 bar makes it an ideal choice for submersible installations.

Certificates and approvals – a guarantee of quality

The cable has a Hygienic Certificate of the National Institute of Public Health – State Hygiene Institute (NIZP-PZH) (certificate number B.BK.60110.0936.2022 NIZP PZH - PIB valid until 07.09.2025), which confirms its safety in contact with water intended for human consumption. It also has DVGW approvals: KTW BWGL and WRAS and DM 174, which demonstrates its high quality and compliance with European standards. Thanks to this, installers can be sure that they are using a product that meets all sanitary and technical requirements.
