Submersible pump cable – reliability and safety in contact with water

This blue HELUPOWER® AQUATIC-750-BLUE cable with a cross-section of 1x4 mm² is specifically designed to power submersible pump motors, even at considerable depths. Made of high-quality materials, it meets stringent safety standards and is ideal for both professional and domestic applications. Its construction ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation in harsh conditions.

Construction and application

This cable stands out due to its construction adapted to work in a watery environment. The un-tinned, stranded copper conductor, class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) provides good flexibility and resistance to bending. PVC insulation protects against short circuits, and a cross-linked halogen-free plastic coating guarantees resistance to mechanical damage and chemical factors. The cable is identified in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308, which facilitates its correct connection.

It can be used in drinking water up to a depth of 600 meters, making it indispensable in water supply installations, deep wells, and in the food industry. It will also work in fish ponds and aquariums. Additionally, the cable is resistant to chlorine (up to 0.6 mg/l) and salt water (up to 6%), which expands the range of its applications.

Certificates and approvals – a guarantee of quality

The safety of use is confirmed by the PZH certificate (State Hygiene Institute), which allows the cable to come into contact with water intended for human consumption (certificate number B.BK.60110.0936.2022 NIZP PZH - PIB valid until 07.09.2025). It also has DVGW approvals: KTW BWGL, WRAS and DM 174, which proves its high quality and compliance with European standards. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250/DIN VDE 0285-525-1/DIN EN 50525-1.
