Submersible pump cable – reliable power in harsh conditions

This flexible HELUPOWER® AQUATIC-750-BLUE cable is specifically designed to power submersible pumps, ensuring safe and stable operation even in demanding environments. Its construction and materials guarantee long-term operation and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users. The cable is available in blue, which makes it easier to identify as intended for use in water.

Construction and application

The cable is made of high-quality materials that meet the standards of DIN VDE 0250/DIN VDE 0285-525-1/DIN EN 50525-1. Its cores are made of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), and the sheath of cross-linked PVC elastomer, which provides excellent insulation and mechanical protection. It can be used in water at depths of up to 600 meters, as well as in food processing plants, fish ponds and aquariums. This makes it suitable for a wide range of installations – from domestic wells to industrial pumping systems. The cable is particularly recommended for powering submersible pump motors, sensors, drive motors and heating systems immersed in water.

Safety and compliance with standards

Safety is a priority. The cable has a PZH certificate, allowing it to come into contact with drinking water – this is crucial for applications in drinking water supply. The insulation resistance exceeds 200 MOhm/km, and the operating voltage range is 0.6/1kV, which guarantees effective protection against electric shock. In addition, the cable is resistant to chlorine (up to 0.6 mg/l) and seawater with a salinity of up to 3.5%, which increases its durability and reliability in various environmental conditions. The flexible operating temperature ranges from -25°C to +90°C and the stationary operating temperature from -40°C to +90°C. The outer diameter of the cable is 9.5 mm with a weight of 0.106 g/m and a Cu weight of 0.044 kg/m. The minimum bending radius is 5 x cable diameter.
