This blue HELUPOWER® AQUATIC-750-BLUE cable with a cross-section of 1x6 mm² is specifically designed to power submersible pump motors, even at significant depths. Its construction and materials guarantee safe and long-lasting operation in demanding environments, including contact with drinking water. The cable is ideal for both professional installers and end-users looking for a reliable power supply solution for pumps.

Construction and application

The cable is manufactured in accordance with DIN VDE 0250/DIN VDE 0285-525-1/DIN EN 50525-1 standards, confirming its high quality and safety. It can be used in water at depths of up to 600 meters, making it an excellent choice for deep wells and other underwater applications. It will also be useful in food processing plants, fish ponds and aquariums. The multi-strand copper conductor, class 5, provides flexibility and resistance to material fatigue, while the PVC insulation guarantees effective protection against short circuits and mechanical damage. The coating made of cross-linked halogen-free plastic increases safety, minimizing the risk of releasing toxic substances in the event of a fire.

Certificates and compliance with standards

The cable has a PZH certificate, allowing it to come into contact with drinking water – this is crucial for applications in water supply systems. It meets the requirements of DVGW Standard W 270. Additionally, it is resistant to chlorine (up to 0.6 mg/l) and salt water (up to 6% salinity), which expands its range of applications. The cable has been tested for the absence of microbial growth, which is particularly important in drinking water applications. This ensures that it will not negatively affect water quality. The operating temperature of the cable ranges from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -25°C to +50°C (flexible), and also +60°C in water. The operating voltage is 450/750V, and the test voltage is 2500V. The minimum bending radius for fixed installation is 5x the cable diameter.
