Power cable for inverters – reliability and protection
This shielded PVC cable, designated TOPFLEX® 600-C-PVC 4G120 mm², is a specialized solution for powering devices requiring high reliability and resistance to interference. The cable is designed for applications in traffic control electronics, such as servomotors and frequency converters, as well as for connecting DNC motors. Its construction and materials guarantee safe and efficient operation in various environmental conditions.
Construction and parameters ensuring performance
The cable is characterized by a cross-section of 120 mm², which allows for the transmission of large currents without the risk of overheating. It is made of multi-strand copper conductors (class 5), surrounded by PVC insulation. The conductors are black, with white numbers for easy identification according to DIN VDE 0293-334. Additionally, the cable has a copper braid screen, which provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). This braid covers approximately 85% of the surface area, significantly reducing the impact of external interference sources on the transmitted signal. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC coating in gray (RAL 7001).
Flexibility and range of applications
The TOPFLEX® 600-C-PVC cable is designed for both fixed and flexible installations. Thanks to the operating temperature range from -40°C to +80°C (for stationary installation) and from -15°C to +80°C (for flexible installation), it can be used in a wide range of environmental conditions. It is suitable for installation in dry, damp and wet rooms. Its chemical resistance and oil-resistant outer coating increase its durability and reliability in harsh industrial conditions. The rated voltage U is 1000 V, and the test voltage is 4000 V, which confirms its high quality and safety of use. The minimum bending radius is approx. 7.5 x outer diameter for flexible installations and 4 x outer diameter for fixed installations. The outer diameter of the cable is 56.4 mm.
